Ralph Deland Shaver
Ralph Deland Shaver was the son of Clinton Deland & Jessie Goldie (VanOrman) Shaver. He was born on September 1, 1925 in Michigan, USA.
On the April 24, 1930 (per the 1930 U.S. Census), his family lived at 516 S. Main in Charlotte, Eaton County, Michigan. Per the 1940 U.S. Census, on April 25, 1940, Ralph and his family lived on 902 E. Shaw Street in Charlotte.
On May 8, 1945, Ralph enlisted in the Army and served in World War II. He was released from service on November 15, 1946.
On June 26, 1949, Ralph married Lois Mae Masters, daughter of Frank & Emma Augusta (Jones) Masters, in Olivet, Eaton County.
For 39 1/2 years, Ralph worked for and then retired from Fisher Body in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan.
Clinton passed away on May 25, 2003, at the age of 77, in Lansing. He was buried three days later at West Carmel Cemetery in Eaton County.
