Henry Casper Felder, Sr.
Henry Casper Felder was born on August 5, 1921 in Glencoe, McLeod County, Minnesota, USA. He was the son of Russian immigrants Alexander & Katherine (Wolff) Felder.
Per the 1930 U.S. Census, he was listed as being 9 years old and living with his parents and three younger siblings in Clinton, Rock County, Wisconsin.
Sometime around 1945, he married Cordie Louise Shaver. She is the daughter of Orville Clayton & Bessie Eva (Perry) Shaver.
Henry served with the U.S. Army during World War II and had been awarded the Bronze Star for Meritorious Achievement in Ground Combat. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 8260 of Nashville, Barry County, Michigan.
He was a truck driver for General Aluminum, retiring in 1983.
He passed away on August 19, 2000 (age 79) in Charlotte, Eaton County, Michigan. Services were held on August 22, 2000 at the Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte, with Pastor Timothy Olson officiating. He was Interned at Gresham Cemetery in Vermontville, Eaton County.
