Jessie Elanore (Mcphee) LeClear
Jessie Elanore McPhee was the daughter of Glenn Irving & Bessie Marie (Shaver) McPhee. She was born on September 6, 1923 in Michigan, USA.
She married Francis Earl LeClear, son of Harold Heath & Bernice Etta (Brainard) LeClear.
A U.S. Army Captain, records indicate that she (and her four daughters) were residents in 1955 of Pleasant Aveune in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. They are listed aboard the passenger list for the USNS UPSHUR (T-AP 198) which departed Bremerhaven, Germany on April 23, 1955 and arrived in New York City on May 2, 1955.
Jessie died on August 5, 1984 in Bath, Clinton County, Michigan. She was buried next to her husband at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.
