Glenn Irving Mcphee, Jr.
Glenn Irving McPhee, Jr. was the oldest son of Glenn Irving & Bessie Marie (Shaver) McPhee. He was born around 1915 in Michigan, USA.
On the 1920 U.S. Census, dated January 30, 1920, he was age 5 and living with his parents in Windsor, Eaton County, Michigan, USA.
On the 1930 U.S. Census, dated April 1930, he was age 14 and living with his grandparents in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan, USA. The 1930 Census indicates that his mother was possibly Christine Higgs; however, this is incorrect. Christine (McPhee) Higgs was his widowed step-aunt, who was also living in the household at the time.
Sometime before 1945, he married Dorothy H. Unknown.
Per the Lansing City Directory, between 1945 and 1959 Glenn was employed at Atlas Drop Forge (along with his brother Richard from 1949-1959). His job titles were as indicated: Foreman (1945 & 1951), Machine Repairman (1949 & 1956), Factory Worker (1955), and Hammer Repairman (1959).
He and Dorothy lived at 1846 Davis Avenue during those years (1945 - 1959).
Glenn died sometime before May 17, 2006, per the obituary of his brother, Richard.
