Jessie Goldie VanOrman was the daughter of Elwin A. VanOrman. She was born on September 14, 1901 in Michigan, USA.
As of the 1910 U.S. Census, she and her father were living in Carmel, Eaton County, Michigan with her paternal grandparents: Samuel C. & Abiathai Gertrude VanOrman.
On September 1, 1918, she married Clinton Deland Shaver. He was the oldest child of Melvin Burdett & Emma J. (Raymond) Shaver.
As of January 19, 1920 (per the 1920 U.S. Census) was living in Charlotte, Eaton County and occupied as a farm laborer.
Per the 1930 U.S. Census, dated April 24, 1930, he was occupied as a "truck driver - Dray". Their family address was 516 South Main.
She passed away on June 27, 1979 (age 77) in Charlotte, Eaton County.
